A Fresh Beginning

“You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your and upon me. Such knowledge is too
wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.” Psalm 139:5,6

It seemed like just yesterday that Pastor Ray and Brother Ken Nawrocki returned from India, seeing another class graduate from the Koinonia School of Ministry. Perhaps that’s because May was an extremely busy month. Pastor Joseph and Vishranti visited the U.S. and we were all blessed by their company and the awesome opportunities to share and hear about ministry in India first hand.

Within two days of Pastor Joseph’s return to India he team from Boston – Dr. Andrew Sargent and two other teachers, John and Al - will be arriving in India for six weeks of teaching at the school. We have a list of required books needed for a planned expansion of our curriculum. Well, I have a praise report! The Lord provided through various sources the text books needed for this six week crash course in languages.

The group who will be present will be KSOM 2nd year students, graduated students already in the field, and pastors from our various churches. We can only accommodate 20 individuals because of our limited facilities.
Please continue to pray for this team, and may the Lord bless their time together. Please pray for the new students coming in – the number isn’t finalized yet but should be as soon as Pastor Joseph returns.

We are looking to begin this year again by faith, seeking His face, staying ahead of the daily challenges we face practically, financially and operationally. The Lord has been faithful every year to provide for the needs. We need to purchase some utensils, sheets, supplies for the school - please pray for these needs to be met.
Please pray for the Staff at the School of Ministry also – Pastor Joseph, Professors James & Rebecca, Praveen, Muang and Jyoti. This year we prayerfully will fit our student Jeep, which is about 20 years old, with dual clutch, brake and accelerator so that we can teach the men and women driving – as part of our Practical Trades Ministry.

We have many brothers and sisters praying to go to India. Please pray that the Lord would open the door and give them a clear vision. We are planning to send a team in September hold a Pastor’s Conference in October/November, and then send a Medical Missions team in January. Praise the Lord that the recent elections in India overwhelmingly supported retaining the current, more conservative party so that we still have these opportunities!

We covet your prayers as we develop the website for the Ministry in India, and we are looking for men and women who are gifted in website development, maintenance, and any contribution that they can make towards the ongoing upkeep.
